Get the “leather look” without having to spend a huge sum and save an animal!
Synthetic leather are suitable for general upholstery like sofas, chairs, headboards etc. They are preferred over fabric especially when use in commercial uses like restaurants where it is more heavily used and they are more dirt resistant. Our customers also like to use PVC leather for dining chair covers as they are easier to maintain.
They are very versatile in application. But do take note they tend to be warmer to sit on as compared to fabrics or genuine leather.
PVC is DIFFERENT from PU leather. PU leather tends to peel very easily. PVC leather WILL NOT have this problem and is greatly preferred over PU leather. If your current “leather” sofa is peeling off within months of use, chances are it is a PU leather fabrication. Changing it to PVC leather will solve the problem and the cost is much lower as compared to genuine leather.
